Spumone!
Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 8:09PM
I was a little... nervous about this one when it came out of the dyepot. It looked a big scraggly and muddy, but I rinsed it and gave it a little soak in some kookabura to soften it up, and now I'm SO happy with it.
Chocolate, Pistachio, and Strawberry, with spots of dried fruit and nuts. Nom. Sometimes interpreting snack foods and desserts doesn't work all that well in yarn and fiber, but this one looks good enough to eat!
I did eight ounces of Brown Sheep superwash fiber as well:
She's pretty, but I think she's waiting to be spun up into a lofty worsted 2-ply to show her true potential. Lacey is waiting patiently by the couch for me to finish this post so we can do some spinning.
